In a world where humans & spirits are against each other, The girl (Nara) finds herself lost after inadvertently slipping through an otherside. She eventually gets rescued by The cat (Callum) and taken to the peaceful side of the spirit world. She later learns about the death flower that's slowly spreading across the world, so she sneaks out of the house to find answers (with little to no knowledge about the other parts of the world). As she finds herself in a crowded market full of weird creatures, one of the civilians reported her to the authority (which happens to be a train conductor). As she runs after seeing an eyeless creature with a big mouth, she soon ran into a dead end where she sees nothing but a dense fog that's who knows how deep, She then slipped and fell into the abyss after seeing the authority catching up to her. As she falls, she then felt like someone had just caught her, it turns out to be another conductor (Cloud) who has a different perspective on humans, she thought she recognized him but nothing rings the bell. 3 years later, she eventually got acclimated to her new environment and learns that music can wither away the death flowers. Knowing that, she later sets on an adventure with cloud who's basically her guardian by that point.
